“Are we all racist?” on France 2: how our brain generates stereotypes and prejudices
This Tuesday, La Deux is offering a special evening exploring racism and discriminatory behavior. Some fifty volunteers agreed to undergo scientific experiments with astonishing results. Sylvain Delouvée, a psychosociologist, explains the story.

This new program, broadcast this Tuesday, June 17 on France 2 at 9:10 p.m., is co-presented by Marie Drucker and Jamy Gourmaud, alongside Lucien Jean-Baptiste and psychosociologist Sylvain Delouvée. This evening event aims to decipher the unconscious mechanisms behind stereotypes and prejudices. Which too often lead to discriminatory behavior and racism .
In short: what happens in our brains when we are confronted, in various situations, with people of different ethnic origins? For this experiment, the channel called on fifty volunteers, whom it exposed to around ten existing and validated scientific experiments.
